MEADOW-VALE CAMPSITES
Meadow-Vale Campsites is a unique destination for your camping enjoyment. Located between Oneonta and Cooperstown, it is convenient to many local attractions. In Cooperstown our campers find the Baseball Hall of Fame, the Farmer's Museum, Fenimore House, Glimmerglass Opera, Brewery Ommegang and Fly Creek Cider Mill. In Oneonta our campers can visit the National Soccer Hall of Fame, concerts, and minor league baseball games. For our golfing enthusiast there are six golf courses nearby. The premier cave in New York, Howe Caverns, is located within easy driving distance from the campground. Scenic train rides carry our campers through Leatherstocking country from Milford to Cooperstown in the scenic Charlotte Valley.
Campground Profile
Meadow-Vale Campsites offers 110 sites. 96 of those sites have water and electric hookups. Most of these sites are generously shaded and roomy. The sites are separated from each other by ample forestation to provide campers with a sense of privacy to enhance their camping experience. The Rally Field provides camping clubs and other large RVs with
level prepared gravel sites and 50 amp electric service. These sites were
renovated last year as part of our overall capital improvement plan. The sites reserved for tenting are secluded and are located on the knoll overlooking the lake. For those intrepid souls who want to have an outdoor experience but don't have a tent, trailer or RV we offer
two efficiency cabins. These come furnished with cooking and eating utensils. You bring the linens.
Recreation is important to every camper. Meadow-Vale offers something for every level of activity from its playground to the fitness trail with 18 exercise stations. The arcade features up to date video machines as well as ping pong,
air hockey and pool tables. The miniature golf course is an attraction for the entire family to share in some outdoor fun. It features 9 holes which test any golfer's
abilities. Families keep cool in our swimming pool all summer long. The lake is reserved for canoeing, fishing and paddleboat fun. Other activities at Meadow-Vale include volleyball, basketball, softball, croquet, bocce ball and
badminton. Bicycling along the camp roads is permitted and wearing of helmets is required. There are many planned activities for all age groups. Please see our event calendar for summer fun.
